Who can check-out books?
Circulation Policy
All borrowed materials should be checked out of the Mecca Center library. Circulation is done manually, through the self-checkout station, with the assistance of a library volunteer when available. The materials are loaned to the patron and become the responsibility of the patron.
Mecca Center Library patrons are responsible for following circulation procedures and returning books to the library.
Lost, missing, or damaged library items should be reported to the librarian as soon as possible. If an item has not been returned after 3 months, a book replacement fee will be posted to the patron’s account.
When checking books out, please remove the card from the pocket on the item. Then, write your full name on the card with the due date of one month from the date of borrowing. After that, place the card in the small filing card box. Enjoy the materials!
When returning items, please place them in the return drop-box in the library. The library staff will check in the items and reshelve them as soon as possible.
