Asalamu Alaikum ٱلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ

As Illinois is experiencing a surge in COVID-19 cases, The Mecca Center has been closely monitoring the CDC (Center for Disease Control and Prevention) and Governor J.B. Pritzker’s recommendations.

In consultation with our infectious disease expert Dr. Mazen Kheirallah, The Mecca Center Board has thereby decided to proactively suspend all daily and Jummah prayers until further notice.

Limited essential services such as marriages, counseling, and funerals are available upon request. Please contact info@meccacenter.org for any questions or assistance.

We will continue to monitor and provide updates to our community as the situation develops. Thank you for your continued support and cooperation during this challenging time.
